Description

Join the team supporting the ePZB system, augmenting ongoing development and maintenance of a web-based application. You will work across the full stack: .NET server-side, Angular single-page front ends, and Oracle/SQL Server databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features for the ePZB system using C# or VB.NET on the .NET Framework

• Build and maintain RESTful services with ASP.NET Web API 2 and data access layers with Entity Framework

• Develop responsive SPA UIs using Angular (v4+), Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

• Maintain and enhance existing ASP.NET Web Forms pages, including AJAX with Ajax Control Toolkit

• Write and optimize database objects in Oracle (PL/SQL) or SQL Server (T-SQL) (packages, stored procedures, functions, DDL, DML)

• Tune SQL and application performance and troubleshoot production issues

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards

• Support data import/export to and from PDF, Excel, and text file formats

• Follow source control, build, and deployment practices (branching, build queuing, application change control)

• Collaborate with staff, analysts, and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions

• Produce and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• 6+ years Microsoft .NET development using C# or VB.NET

• 6+ years with PL/SQL, Transact-SQL, or ANSI-SQL (Oracle or SQL Server)

• 2+ years with Angular (version 4 onward), Bootstrap, and SPA development

• 2+ years with ASP.NET Web API 2 and Entity Framework 5.0 or higher

• Mandatory hands-on experience (minimum 3 years in each area):
  - .NET Framework 4.5+ using VB.NET/C#, object-oriented concepts, ASP.NET page life cycle, and AJAX
  - JavaScript and jQuery, including AJAX using Ajax Control Toolkit
  - HTML, CSS 3.0, cross-browser HTML support, and solid understanding of the DOM

• Oracle 19c+ or SQL Server 2012+ experience with DDL/DML, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and SQL performance tuning

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of working experience in each of the above areas to be considered
