Description

Design, develop, and implement geospatial models and analytical solutions to assess environmental factors and their impact on business operations (e.g., hurricane damage modeling). Apply advanced mathematical and statistical concepts, GeoAI, and data science techniques to transform geospatial data into actionable insights. Build, automate, and maintain geospatial processing workflows, ETL pipelines, and user-facing ArcGIS interfaces, while supporting enterprise GIS environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement geospatial models and analytical solutions for environmental impact scenarios
• Apply geometry, trigonometry, probability, linear algebra, calculus/differential equations, and graph theory to complex modeling
• Develop and maintain enterprise GIS environments using ESRI ArcGIS Server (imagery, raster analytics, GeoAnalytics)
• Leverage GeoAI and advanced analytics for actionable business insights
• Develop and maintain geospatial data processing workflows and ETL pipelines integrating enterprise systems with SQL geodatabases
• Productize geospatial models and analytical services in enterprise platforms
• Design and build user-facing interfaces within ArcGIS
• Use Hexagon Geospatial and ERDAS IMAGINE for remote sensing, photogrammetry, LiDAR, and raster processing
• Automate GIS administration and deployments using Python APIs and configuration management
• Perform large-scale geospatial data transformation and analysis
• Maintain technical documentation, version control, and process workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions

Requirements

• Geospatial modeling experience (ideally hurricane damage modeling)
• Ability to perform math/analytics behind environmental forces, including geometry, trigonometry, statistics/probability, linear algebra, calculus/differential equations, topology, and graph theory
• Experience with ArcGIS Server (ESRI)
• Ability to productize geospatial services in a platform
• Strong GeoAI, analytics, and data science background
• Python scripting experience
• Front-end/UI experience to build ArcGIS interfaces
• Documentation and process discipline (track revisions, maintain documentation)
