Description

You will design, build, and operate services for the agent platform, including long-running workflow orchestration, session management, model routing, tool/skill execution, and sandboxed game sessions. You will improve reliability, latency, and cost of multi-step agent workflows in production and extend evaluation infrastructure to measure quality and catch regressions before they reach creators. You’ll partner with Build product teams, ML infrastructure, and Safety, and contribute to operational excellence through on-call.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate services: orchestration, session management, model routing, tool/skill execution

• Improve reliability, latency, and cost of multi-step agent workflows in production

• Build and extend evaluation infrastructure for quality measurement and regression prevention

• Collaborate with product, ML infrastructure, and Safety to ship new capabilities safely

• Participate in on-call and help raise operational excellence

• Write technical specs, review code, and mentor engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating backend or distributed systems in production

• Proficiency in C#, Java, Go, or similar

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerized services

• Experience with workflow or job orchestration systems (e.g., Temporal, Kubernetes)

• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of services (design, launch, monitoring, incident response)

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Curiosity about LLMs and agentic systems; eagerness to work on production behavior

• Pragmatic, iterative shipping approach guided by data and evaluations
