Description

Lead the design and development of scalable automated testing systems and frameworks using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD). Own UI and API testing strategies across web platforms, validate Kafka event-driven systems, and perform ETL/data validation using SQL. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and drive QA efforts across functional, regression, UAT, and cross-browser testing.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement automation frameworks (Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber BDD)
  • Drive UI and API testing strategies across web platforms
  • Lead test planning, framework enhancements, and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Perform end-to-end API and backend integration validation (Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI)
  • Validate Kafka messaging/event-driven systems using real-time message verification
  • Conduct ETL and data validation using advanced SQL on Oracle and SQL Server
  • Lead testing for Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud (workflows, case management, data validation)
  • Ensure quality through cross-browser, functional, regression, and UAT testing
  • Execute mobile automation tests using Appium with real devices/emulators
  • Mentor QA teams, perform code reviews, and align with Agile sprint cycles
  • Handle defect triage, maintain traceability, and report automation ROI and quality metrics

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional hands-on Selenium automation with Java development
  • Banking experience required; payments processing experience is a plus
  • Experience as a QA Architect or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience building automated testing systems/frameworks
  • Experience with UI testing: functional, regression, integration, UAT, sanity, and cross-browser
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing
