Description

Senior Java Full Stack Developer needed to support a federal client. You will build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices while developing frontend features using modern JavaScript frameworks. The role requires availability to work onsite 5 days a week in Ellicott City, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Build frontend features using Angular or React.js
• Implement backend services with Java and Spring, integrating with databases

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall IT experience in Java Full Stack development
• Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Frontend experience with Angular or React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Local to Ellicott City, MD or within a 2-hour driving distance; no relocation
• W2 only (no C2C / no 1099)
• Availability to work onsite 5 days a week
