Description

Build and deploy robust, scalable cloud applications and serverless systems across AWS and Azure, including hybrid architectures. Integrate Generative AI foundation models using Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker while developing secure, data-driven backends. Responsibilities span serverless deployment, database management, communications workflows, storage/CDN, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda
• Design hybrid cloud architectures integrating AWS and Azure services
• Integrate Generative AI foundation models via Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker
• Manage cloud databases including Amazon RDS and DynamoDB
• Implement customer communication workflows using Amazon Connect
• Configure Amazon S3 buckets and optimize delivery with CloudFront
• Manage cloud security including IAM roles, encryption keys, secrets, and API gateways
• Develop scalable backend applications using Python and Node.js
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver cloud-native solutions

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on cloud development experience (AWS preferred; Azure beneficial)
• 4+ years experience with AWS Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, and Infrastructure as Code
• 4+ years experience implementing Generative AI models using Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker
• 3+ years experience with Amazon Connect and CloudFront
• 3+ years experience with cloud identity management (IAM, Azure AD/Entra ID)
• 6+ years of programming experience in Python, Node.js, SQL, or other scalable backend languages
• 3+ years experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Only local candidates; must work 100% onsite in Raleigh, NC and attend an in-person interview
