Description

Build resilient, clean, and maintainable full-stack software spanning React frontends, Python microservices, and cloud-native backends. Design scalable system architectures and API contracts, act as a technical benchmark for complex codebases, and mentor other engineers. Partner with product managers and domain experts to identify the highest-leverage solutions for complex user journeys.

Responsibilities

• Deliver resilient, clean, maintainable code across the full stack (React, Python microservices, cloud-native backends)

• Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to deconstruct complex user journeys

• Design robust, modular system architectures and clean API contracts that scale across enterprise workloads

• Spot bugs, vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks; maintain deep technical fluency

• Mentor engineers through pair programming, architectural discussions, and sharing reusable mental models

Requirements

• 2 to 8 years of professional software engineering experience

• Deep experience with React.js (functional components, hooks, state management)

• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and responsive CSS

• Backend engineering in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) with clean RESTful/GraphQL API design

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL/document databases (schema design and query optimization)

• Hands-on cloud-native architecture experience (AWS preferred: Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway)

• Terraform experience for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

• Practical proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
