Description

Salesforce’s Digital Enterprise Technology team is looking for a DevOps Engineer to build best-in-class CI/CD pipelines and agentic developer toolchains. The role provides services to many engineering teams by creating robust development tools, quality/security guardrails, and a strong DevOps culture, with an emphasis on automated build, test, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and support CI/CD pipelines and other developer tools

• Build guardrails around software development and release processes to ensure high quality and security

• Consult internal teams on technical requirements and deliver solutions

• Apply a security and trust mindset to engineering system design, implementation, and support

• Integrate agentic capabilities into internal developer tools to continuously improve developer experience

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar technical role

• In-depth knowledge of source control systems, branching strategies, trunk-based development, and CI frameworks (e.g., GitHub Actions)

• Proven experience creating build, test, and deployment pipelines, plus proficiency in scripting or object-oriented programming

• Hands-on experience in a Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment with a focus on quality and software design
