Description

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake. Analyze banking and regulatory requirements (e.g., balance sheet stress testing, capital adequacy, liquidity, and risk management) and translate them into scalable data solutions and data models. Ensure data quality, reconciliation, lineage, governance, and regulatory compliance while optimizing and automating the data platform for analytical, reporting, and regulatory consumption.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on Snowflake

• Analyze banking requirements for stress testing, scenario analysis, capital adequacy, liquidity, and risk management

• Translate complex regulatory and financial requirements into data solutions

• Collaborate with business analysts, Finance, Treasury, Risk, and regulatory stakeholders to implement business logic

• Develop and optimize data warehousing solutions for large-scale financial data aggregation, transformation, and reporting

• Create data models supporting stress testing simulations, statistical analysis, and management reporting

• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, lineage, governance, and regulatory compliance

• Prepare and provision data for analytical, reporting, and regulatory consumption layers

• Perform detailed data investigations, validation, and reconciliation across multiple source systems

• Drive performance optimization, automation, and continuous improvement of data platforms and processing frameworks

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL

• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes in complex enterprise environments

• Deep understanding of banking data: balance sheet management, stress testing, treasury, liquidity, finance, regulatory reporting, risk management, and capital adequacy frameworks

• Proven experience with data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and aggregation across multiple source systems

• Business analysis skills (requirements gathering, process modeling, stakeholder management, translating needs into technical solutions)

• Practical experience with statistical analysis and preparing data for analytical models

• Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks and regulatory requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders

• Very good command of English (spoken and written)

Nice to have

• Experience with EBA, ECB, Basel, ICAAP, ILAAP, or IRRBB stress testing/regulatory frameworks

• Knowledge of Data Vault and dimensional modeling; cloud-based data platforms

• Experience in Agile/SAFe environments

• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
