Description

You will serve as the key point of contact for current and potential clients, advising and translating their needs into Big/Cloud Data projects. The role involves advising on technology and architecture, designing solutions with engineering teams, supporting sales with expert knowledge, and identifying technical and business risks and opportunities—without ongoing developer work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client discussions and convert needs into Big/Cloud Data projects

• Advise on technology and architecture choices considering costs, risks, and potential benefits

• Design Big/Cloud Data solutions together with engineering teams

• Support sales with expert knowledge

• Analyze client organizations to identify technical and business risks and opportunities

• Co-create the strategy and vision for the Data Solutions line

• Build and support an engineering community for knowledge sharing

• Strengthen the Data Solutions line’s industry presence (e.g., speak at industry conferences)

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including minimum 5 years in Big/Cloud Data

• Experience working directly with clients

• Ability to deliver presentations, build relationships, and communicate in English (C1), with readiness for business travel

• Ability to explain technical complexities to both management and technical specialists

• Ability to design technical solutions with alternatives at each stage and understand their advantages/limitations

• Advanced SQL and Azure knowledge

• Knowledge of Databricks and other tools for processing and analyzing medium/large datasets (e.g., Apache, Spark, Synapse, Snowflake, MS Fabric)

• Ability to estimate cloud infrastructure costs using ROI and TCO

• Knowledge of Lambda and Kappa architectures, plus Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse concepts

• Fluent communication in Polish

Compensation

• 155–230 PLN net/hour + VAT (B2B)

• 18,800–27,880 gross (UoP)
