Description

Design and lead end-to-end SharePoint and enterprise collaboration solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. Translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and user-centric architectures, guiding the full lifecycle from concept and design through implementation and continuous improvement. Evaluate and recommend technologies and integration approaches, define non-functional requirements, ensure security/governance compliance, and mentor delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end SharePoint and collaboration solutions aligned with enterprise standards
• Create and maintain architectural blueprints, solution designs, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, developers, and enterprise architects
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and integration approaches
• Lead integration of new solutions with existing platforms and infrastructure
• Define scalability, performance, reliability, and security non-functional requirements
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements
• Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Drive architectural reviews and promote best practices
• Mentor engineers and solution teams
• Continuously assess emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Collaboration Architect, or comparable architecture role
• Strong experience designing and implementing SharePoint-based and enterprise collaboration solutions
• Solid understanding of modern software architecture principles, design patterns, and integration approaches
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integrations
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to influence technical decisions across cross-functional teams
• Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams and promoting architectural best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies: SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in large, global enterprise environments
• Understanding of data platform and integration architectures
