Description

Design and develop an AI platform on Microsoft Azure, including agentic AI systems, Human-in-the-Loop oversight, and secure data processing and communications. Define the architecture and integration approach, establish scalability/performance and technical standards, and design security controls such as access management and protection of AI platform resources.

Role Responsibilities

• Architect an AI platform aligned with business, technological, and security requirements
• Define how agentic AI systems operate and integrate with existing applications and services
• Design Human-in-the-Loop mechanisms for monitoring AI system behavior and controlling decisions
• Select appropriate cloud services and architectural patterns for the solution
• Propose architecture concepts for secure data processing and component-to-component communication
• Design access management, permissions, and protection of resources used by AI systems
• Evaluate solutions for scalability, performance, reliability, and resilience against threats
• Define technical standards and rules for designing and implementing platform components
• Analyze architectural and security risks and recommend mitigation
• Assess new technologies and architectural approaches for production suitability
• Collaborate with AI Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and Security teams
• Prepare architectural documentation and support key technology decisions

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in designing or developing complex systems, including system architecture experience
• Practical experience designing AI platform architecture or AI solutions
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture
• Experience designing agentic AI systems
• Understanding of Human-in-the-Loop and designing oversight/control mechanisms for AI systems
• Practical knowledge of cloud security and security architecture
• Experience designing secure and scalable system architectures
• Knowledge of identity, access, and permissions management in cloud environments
• Ability to design integrations between AI components, cloud services, and existing systems
• Experience defining architectural standards and making technology decisions
• Ability to identify technical and security risks and propose appropriate solutions
• Independence in translating business and technical requirements into architectural concepts
