Description

Hands-on L1 Production Support role supporting critical banking applications used across payment and settlement processes, cash flow and workflow, and regulatory reporting. You will manage incidents and problems, handle change management, monitor production environments, and troubleshoot issues using logs and data. The position includes automation of repetitive tasks and support for Disaster Recovery testing.

Responsibilities

• Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management
• Technical support for production applications
• Monitor environments and operational processes
• Analyze and resolve production incidents
• Collaborate with UNIX, Database, and Network teams
• Analyze logs and operational data
• Automate recurring support activities
• Support Disaster Recovery testing
• Handle production changes and perform technical risk analysis
• Coordinate with upstream/downstream system teams
• Knowledge transfer and cross-training

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience
• Very strong practical knowledge of Linux/UNIX
• Advanced SQL and database knowledge
• Shell Scripting
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (preferred Python)
• Production/Application Support experience
• Excellent analytical and logical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to independently diagnose technical problems
• Very good English
• Ability to work in an international environment
