Description

You will develop and maintain an internal web application that connects business and operational processes, from quote/offer creation to project execution. You’ll take over an existing system and extend it using Next.js (App Router), React, and PostgreSQL, with your work used daily by colleagues. Development uses AI tools, with an emphasis on careful verification of AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new features based on operational requirements

• Work with PostgreSQL, SQL queries, and the application data model

• Develop and maintain integrations with Shoptet, Shopify, XML feeds, carriers, and accounting

• Translate business needs into clear technical solutions

• Review, test, and safely deploy changes to production

• Monitor application operations, handle errors and outages, and ensure security, backups, and stability

• Document important changes and technical decisions

Requirements

• JavaScript and React proficiency, plus practical Next.js experience with App Router and server vs. client components

• HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS orientation

• PostgreSQL and SQL experience (queries, JOINs, data model)

• REST API experience with JSON/XML, webhooks, and token-based authentication

• Git experience (branching and diff review)

• Deployment knowledge (environments, logs, rollback)

• Basics of security: roles/permissions, protection of sensitive data, careful handling of production data

• Ability to independently identify root causes, verify solutions, and communicate clearly with non-IT colleagues
