Description

Join an international team responsible for developing and maintaining Arla’s Data Foundation cloud data platform. You will contribute to the evolution of the Azure Databricks platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across the data ecosystem while shaping technical direction and mentoring colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Implement complex features and improve architecture while reducing technical debt

• Support developers through code reviews, technical coaching, and knowledge-sharing

• Collaborate with Product Architects and product teams on technical direction and non-functional requirements

• Design and implement robust services, APIs, and data pipelines

• Drive best practices in code quality, testing, automation, and observability

• Evolve CI/CD pipelines to strengthen platform reliability, performance, and resilience

Requirements

• Several years of experience developing and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms

• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure services, Terraform, Python/PySpark, and SQL

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Understanding of architectural patterns, integration design, and modern software engineering practices

• Experience with CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps methodologies

• Knowledge of observability, performance optimization, resilience patterns, and incident management

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, plus ability to mentor and guide colleagues

• Professional proficiency in English
