Description

Build and optimize modern cloud data platforms and pipelines in Azure using Azure Databricks. Design, build, and maintain scalable data processing solutions and pipelines across multiple sources, transforming large structured and unstructured datasets while ensuring performance and cost efficiency. Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end cloud data and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable data processing solutions using Azure services

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines integrating multiple data sources

• Transform and optimize large structured and unstructured datasets

• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders

• Support end-to-end delivery of cloud data and analytics solutions

• Document solutions and ensure performance and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and data lakes

• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud and modern data platform architectures

• Expertise in SQL, PySpark, Python, ETL/ELT, and data modeling (3NF, Star/Snowflake)

• Experience with Unity Catalog, MLflow, Jobs & Pipelines in Databricks

• Understanding of Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, APIs, and event-driven architectures

• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and analytics tools such as Power BI

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
