Description

Lead and mentor an embedded Linux application development team, define project scope and deliverables, and manage hiring as part of an R&D organization focused on IoT solutions for Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

You will coordinate with senior management, other teams, and customers to gather requirements, manage risks, and improve development processes, system performance, and product quality.

The role focuses mainly on device communication integration with third-party hardware and internal RutOS applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor embedded Linux application layer developers

• Support growth of current team members and lead hiring

• Foster collaboration and innovation

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management and other teams

• Monitor and adopt industry trends and technologies

• Drive device communication integration with third-party hardware and internal RutOS applications

• Enable clear cross-department communication aligned with business goals

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Prepare regular reports on project progress, team performance, and technical issues

• Engage customers to gather requirements and provide technical expertise

• Improve development processes, boost system performance, and enhance product quality

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team

• Good knowledge of Embedded Linux application development

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
