Description

Join a key digital transformation program for a bank and take technical ownership of a new banking mobile app built with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Compose Multiplatform. You will design the architecture for shared Android/iOS code, set technology and modularization standards, ensure top-level mobile security, and mentor a dedicated KMP team. You will also lead mobile-to-backend API integrations and oversee CI/CD and releases to App Store and Google Play.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a mobile application with a focus on sharing code (Android/iOS) using Kotlin Multiplatform

• Define standards, design patterns, and a modularization strategy for the team

• Make key technology decisions with an emphasis on mobile security

• Design and implement mobile integrations with the bank backend APIs

• Configure and supervise mobile CI/CD processes and app publishing (App Store / Google Play)

• Conduct code/architecture reviews and mentor engineers

• Use modern tooling that supports development processes, including AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor)

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial mobile experience (Android/Kotlin), including 3+ years as Architect or Tech Lead (commercial experience only)

• Commercial experience in banking or fintech mobile projects (required)

• Production experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose Multiplatform, and Jetpack Compose

• Strong mobile architecture knowledge (Clean Architecture, MVI/MVVM) and modularization

• Advanced Kotlin ecosystem skills: Coroutines, Flow, Dependency Injection (Koin/Hilt), networking (Ktor/Retrofit)

• Testing skills (JUnit, MockK, UI tests), plus strong Gradle (build logic, multi-module) and Git knowledge

• Mobile security standards knowledge (OWASP MASVS, secure data storage, authentication mechanisms)

• CI/CD experience for mobile

• English at least A2/B1 for documentation work

• ASAP availability (notice period up to 30 days)

• Ability to work hybrid (about 1 day/week in one of selected Polish offices)

• Experience in retail/consumer banking

• Swift and Xcode experience (iOS)

• Mobile database experience: SQLDelight / Room

• Visual testing tools: Roborazzi / Paparazzi

• Code quality tools: Detekt, SonarQube
