Role: Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) Architect for mobile applications (Android & iOS). Hybrid delivery: about 1 day per week onsite at client offices in Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań, Kraków, Lublin or Szczecin. Budget: up to 165 PLN/h + VAT depending on experience and service scope.

Description

Design and deliver the architecture of Kotlin Multiplatform mobile apps, including shared business logic and UI standards. Define architectural guidelines aligned with Clean Architecture, MVI and MVVM and ensure quality through testing and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile application architecture with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for Android and iOS
• Design solutions enabling sharing of business logic between platforms
• Define and implement architectural standards consistent with Clean Architecture, MVI and MVVM
• Design and supervise UI interface implementation using Jetpack Compose and Compose Multiplatform
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on transactional systems in a banking environment
• Design backend integrations using Ktor/Retrofit, Coroutines and RxJava
• Create architectural documentation and system models in Enterprise Architect
• Support development teams regarding code quality and principles such as SOLID, DRY, KISS and Clean Code
• Design a testing strategy and support test automation with JUnit and MockK
• Oversee CI/CD processes and software quality using Git, Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube and Detekt
• Analyze opportunities to use AI/LLM solutions in the software development process
• Identify and resolve issues related to architecture and integration in cross-platform solutions
• Support diagnosing problems on the iOS side using iOS/Xcode tooling
• Work with architects, developers and business representatives when making project decisions

Requirements

• Architectural experience in projects related to mobile application development
• Knowledge of transaction systems
• Experience creating architectural documentation and models using Enterprise Architect
• Very good knowledge of Kotlin
• Practical experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
• Experience with Compose Multiplatform
• Very good knowledge of Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVI and MVVM patterns
• Experience with Coroutines, RxJava, network communication and API integration
• Experience with Koin or Hilt
• Experience with Ktor or Retrofit
• Knowledge of JUnit and MockK
• Practical knowledge of Gradle and Git
• Knowledge of SOLID, DRY, KISS and Clean Code best practices
• Experience in projects delivered in the banking sector
• Experience with AI/LLM solutions or AI tools supporting software development
• Ability to make independent architectural decisions and to collaborate with technical and business teams
