Description

Lead and implement testing strategy and concepts for key project areas including QR codes, Digital Product Passport battery data, EU registry, and EPR reporting. Perform API contract testing against OpenAPI and JSON schemas, and plan and execute integration/end-to-end testing across SAP systems and reporting components. Coordinate with external API data providers, manage test data and defects in Jira, document in Confluence, and support UAT acceptance with the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategy and test concepts for multiple project domains

• Test REST APIs for OpenAPI compliance and JSON schema validation (incl. contract tests per data source)

• Plan and run integration and end-to-end tests across SAP MES, SAP P01/P50, SAP PO, reporting components, BPP application, and EU registry

• Coordinate integration testing with external data providers via API

• Manage test data, including temporary GS1/SGTIN identifiers until production identifiers are available

• Plan and support UAT with business stakeholders; align acceptance criteria

• Manage defects and report test results in Jira

• Document testing activities in Confluence and provide status updates for steering committees

• Independently drive test execution and continuously apply the agreed test strategy

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Test Manager or Test Lead in integration projects

• Practical REST API testing experience using Postman or Bruno

• Experience with OpenAPI and JSON Schema

• Integration testing experience with SAP systems and interfaces (SAP configuration knowledge not required)

• Proficiency in Jira, including test management plugins such as Xray or Zephyr

• Knowledge of Confluence and Excel

• Fluent English

• Ability to work independently and organize work without constant supervision

• Ability to operate with incomplete requirements and changing priorities; pragmatically organize processes
