Description

You will join a newly launched business reporting initiative to connect diverse reporting tools and data sources. The role involves building Azure ingestion and transformation pipelines, processing advertising and marketing expense data in Databricks, and consolidating marketing KPIs into a central “Master” table. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to clarify and adapt evolving requirements as the project takes shape.

Responsibilities

• Establish connections to existing reporting tools and sources using appropriate ingestion approaches
• Design and build ingestion pipelines in Azure Data Factory
• Process, clean, and model data in Databricks using PySpark and SQL
• Consolidate key KPIs into a central “Master” table as the single source of truth
• Clarify, refine, and adapt requirements with business stakeholders

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Data Engineer on the Azure platform
• Hands-on Databricks experience building data processing logic with PySpark and SQL
• Practical experience designing and orchestrating pipelines in Azure Data Factory
• General understanding of the Azure platform structure and major services
• Strong communication with business stakeholders
• Ability to work in an evolving environment with not-yet-fixed requirements
• Proactive mindset to ask questions, propose solutions, and bring structure to ambiguous tasks
