Description

You will lead a large-scale cloud-native data platform programme and build a GCP-based Data Platform. Work will focus on platform tooling, self-service capabilities, and reusable solutions for Data Engineering, Analytics, and Machine Learning teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve GCP-based data platform capabilities and reusable solutions

• Develop platform tooling and self-service patterns for multiple data teams

• Support data platform/data product lifecycle activities

• Apply modern software delivery practices to platform engineering work

Requirements

• Commercial Python experience

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• BigQuery

• Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer

• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

• GitOps and modern software delivery

• Data Platform / Data Product lifecycle experience

• PySpark and/or Apache Spark

• FastAPI / Pydantic

• CI/CD and source control

• Agile delivery

• Strong communication skills
