Description

You will develop and integrate functionality for a platform that replaces an existing Oracle SaaS solution, using AI to improve efficiency, optimize costs, and speed up software delivery. The work combines Python-based backend development with relational databases, REST API and asynchronous integrations, and a strong focus on quality via testing and CI/CD. You will also prototype and integrate GenAI/LLM features such as RAG pipelines, including evaluation of result quality and prompt version management, with appropriate governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate platform functionality using Python

• Design and implement integrations between systems, including REST APIs and asynchronous communication mechanisms

• Work with relational databases; optimize queries and ensure data consistency

• Create unit, integration, and contract tests; build CI/CD processes and automate code-quality checks

• Maintain quality, performance, scalability, security, and reliability of delivered solutions

• Collaborate with Tech Leads, architects, QA, and platform teams on design and implementation

• Diagnose technical issues, analyze incidents, and improve system monitoring

• Use AI tools and LLM models in the software development process

• Prototype and integrate GenAI solutions, including RAG, evaluate outputs, and manage prompt versions

• Improve software engineering architecture and production processes, including with AI

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience

• Strong Python programming experience

• Practical experience with at least one cloud platform (preferred: Google Cloud Platform)

• Solid experience with relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)

• Ability to design and integrate REST APIs

• Experience with software testing best practices (unit and integration tests), with a focus on code quality and reliability

• Practical experience with CI/CD processes

• Practical knowledge of GenAI and LLM models, including RAG patterns and AI agents, and safe use principles

• Experience implementing AI-enabled SDLC practices, including governance and measuring AI impact on team productivity

• Practical experience prototyping or integrating GenAI solutions (RAG pipelines, result-quality evaluation, prompt version management)

• Fluent communication in English
