Description

You will develop and construct fixtures, tooling, machines, and production equipment for manufacturing processes, ensuring solutions meet cost, quality, and safety requirements. The role includes creating technical concepts, 3D CAD models, drawings, and bill of materials, as well as selecting and sizing mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and automation components. You will own projects end-to-end, from requirements capture through handover to production, coordinating with stakeholders and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fixtures, jigs, machines, and plant/equipment

• Create technical concepts, 3D CAD models, drawings, and bill of materials

• Select and size mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and automation components

• Coordinate and manage projects from requirements to production handover

• Align technical solutions with stakeholders (e.g., production, quality)

• Verify technical feasibility and consider safety requirements

• Optimize existing machines and tooling

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Support trials, prototype builds, and functional tests

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and guidelines

Requirements

• Technical education or further training in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or automation engineering

• Several years of experience in independent development of fixtures and tooling

• Strong CAD skills, ideally Solid Edge (or similar)

• Strong knowledge of technical drawings and manufacturing processes

• Good German skills in writing and speaking
