Description

A long-term B2B contract for a Senior Java Developer to expand engineering capability in a financial services greenfield platform. You will build backend services, messaging architecture, and integration patterns between the UI and multiple bank backend systems, starting with a consolidated trade blotter for FX Cash, Options, Commodities, and Interest Rates. Production launch is targeted this year with ongoing feature expansion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver backend services within a platform engineering function

• Design and implement messaging and integration patterns

• Support microservices-based architecture for a trading blotter domain

Requirements

• Strong Core Java expertise including concurrency and collections

• Experience with Kafka or Solace messaging technologies

• Experience with microservices and reactive programming

• Solution design around messaging and system integration

• Financial markets knowledge
