Description

Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Insurance) to develop and maintain a system supporting insurance policy handling. The work focuses on evolving business capabilities for policy-related processes and improving system operation with respect to insurance product specifics. Collaboration is fully remote via B2B contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the insurance policy support system
• Implement business functionality related to policy processes
• Improve and optimize system behavior

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with Java application development
• Mandatory insurance industry experience
• Excellent knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming
• Backend development experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot
• Practical experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• REST API design, implementation, and integration experience
• Relational databases and SQL knowledge
• Experience creating unit and integration tests
• Git and version control experience
• Agile experience (Scrum or Kanban)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to collaborate with business/system analysts, testers, and other developers
