Description

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team and help build features for a global e-commerce product. You’ll work across the stack (Java, PHP, and Next.js/React/TypeScript) and use AI coding agents in your day-to-day workflow, while staying responsible for what reaches production. Code reviews, tests, and support from experienced engineers are part of the role from the start.

Responsibilities

• Build features across the stack

• Collaborate on and improve a large, mature codebase

• Plan changes, delegate to AI coding agents, review results, and test what they produce

• Write tests, review code, and take ownership of what you ship

• Work with product managers and designers on real customer problems

• Investigate and fix production issues

• Participate in regular feedback and code reviews

Requirements

• 1–2 years of commercial software development experience in at least one part of the stack

• Good understanding of HTTP and REST APIs, SQL, testing, and Git, plus basic CI knowledge

• Hands-on, everyday workflow with AI coding tools that goes beyond autocomplete

• Ability to explain how you validate AI-generated code and stand behind what you ship

• Clear communication, ownership, and enjoyment of solving problems as a team

• Comfort working in existing systems and leaving code better than you found it

• Willingness to learn PHP, Java, or Next.js if you haven’t used them yet

• English at B2 level or higher (spoken and written)
