Description

You will develop, refactor, and optimize backend systems for an enterprise platform. The work includes building an event-driven architecture with Apache Kafka, integrating with a Data Lake using CDC, and improving Elasticsearch search and PostgreSQL performance for large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refactor, and optimize backend
• Design event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka
• Integrate with Data Lake and implement CDC mechanisms
• Develop and optimize Elasticsearch search
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases and processing of large datasets
• Ensure security, data consistency, and support for multi-tenant architecture
• Collaborate with an international technical team

Requirements

• Very strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
• Experience in developing and modernizing large enterprise systems
• Advanced production, practical experience with Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Data Lake (all three mandatory)
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, and REST API
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, DDD, and software design best practices
• Experience designing secure multi-tenant systems
• Very good English
• Very good German (must-have)
