Description

You will build and standardize Azure DevOps delivery practices by providing reusable templates, shared code repositories, pipelines, and libraries. The role includes consolidating tooling and processes across Azure teams, creating standard build images for third-party tools such as SonarQube and Nexus IQ, and implementing end-to-end monitoring for Azure apps and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide common templates for project start-up, build, and deployment, including shared code repositories, reusable pipelines, and shared libraries
• Consolidate common tooling and processes across Azure-based development teams (standard Azure offerings, branching policies, governance)
• Provide standard build images for third-party tools (e.g., SonarQube, Nexus IQ)
• Deliver end-to-end monitoring for Azure-based applications/systems
• Introduce best practices (version control, continuous integration, continuous deployment with inherent policy enforcement)
• Perform housekeeping for Azure monitoring and right-sizing of PaaS services

Requirements

• Experience supporting Azure-based DevOps build and deployment pipelines
• Ability to develop and maintain reusable pipelines, shared libraries, and build templates
• Knowledge of version control and CI/CD best practices
• Experience with monitoring Azure applications and usage/right-sizing PaaS services
