• Role: Senior IT Analyst – Trading Systems (Equity DevOps / Application Maintenance)

• Focus: Production support for business-critical equity trading platforms

• Location/Work model: Gdańsk, 3 days/week in office; two weekday shifts (07:00–15:00 or 10:00–18:00)

Description

You will support stable operations of equity trading platforms processing high transaction volumes for trading desks. As part of the Equity DevOps team, you’ll be the first point of contact for trading desks, handle complex incidents, and work through Incident, Problem, and Change Management. You’ll also maintain and extend monitoring/alerting/observability and drive automation and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support business-critical equity trading applications in production

• Serve as first point of contact for trading and data-related issues

• Handle complex incidents across multiple teams and technology areas

• Follow Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes

• Ensure stability during high-volume and volatile market conditions

• Maintain and extend monitoring, alerting, and observability

• Drive automation and operational improvements

• Create and maintain operational and technical documentation

• Collaborate with traders, developers, and vendor support teams

Requirements

• Experience supporting business-critical trading applications in a fast-paced environment

• Understanding of Order Management Systems / Electronic Trading, or strong personal interest

• Experience with Incident, Problem and Change Management (ITIL or similar)

• Understanding of application lifecycle and production support

• Interest in automation and reducing recurring operational tasks

• Curiosity about how electronic and automated trading systems operate end to end
