Description

You will help operate and scale a robust infrastructure platform handling massive volumes of web data daily. The role centers on managing Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure as code, and deployment automation for continuous service reliability. You will also investigate incidents and collaborate with developers to improve stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot GKE and Kubernetes clusters, including node health, networking, and application deployments
• Provision and maintain infrastructure with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible
• Build and improve Helm charts, Argo CD ApplicationSets, and GitHub Actions workflows
• Investigate incidents using logs, metrics, and health checks; implement safe changes with validation and rollback
• Enforce secure access to GCP services, secrets, and container registries
• Work with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve system stability and performance

Requirements

• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes workloads with strong Linux and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS)
• Practical experience managing infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, including reviewing infrastructure plans and managing changes across environments
• Proficiency with Helm, Git-based delivery, and Docker container build pipelines; confidence writing Bash and Python scripts
• Working knowledge of GCP (GKE, IAM, Secret Manager) with a security-first approach to credentials and access
• Clear communication during code reviews and incidents; ability to investigate unfamiliar systems and explain trade-offs
