Description

You will help customers ingest, store, process, analyze, explore, and visualize data on GDC Air-Gap environments. The role includes explaining differences between GCP and GDC-AG, supporting migrations of analytics and AI workloads, and collaborating with Google account teams, partners, and customers across EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers on ingesting, storing, processing, analyzing, exploring, and visualizing data on GDC air-gapped environments
• Support customer migration of data analytics and AI workloads to GDC-AG with a focus on post-deployment guidance
• Explain key differences between GCP and GDC-AG to technical and business stakeholders
• Deploy applications across both GCP and GDC-AG environments
• Design and build data pipelines, data architectures, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting/analytic environments
• Build and implement machine learning solutions tailored to customer needs
• Set up Cloud Networking and Landing Zones for customer environments
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation pipelines
• Collaborate with Google account teams, partners, and customers across EMEA
• Travel to the Netherlands 1–2 times every two months

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering roles
• Expertise in GDC Air-Gap
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform with hands-on experience deploying applications across GCP and GDC-AG
• Background in distributed/sovereign solutions and familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE)
• Knowledge of Fabric Fast Customization
• Infrastructure as Code skills (Terraform)
• Automation and CI/CD pipeline experience
• Understanding of Cloud Networking and Landing Zone setup
• Experience designing data pipelines, data architectures, and ETL/ELT reporting/analytic environments
• Ability to build machine learning solutions
• Google Cloud Platform Professional Certification
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• English proficiency B2 or higher
