Description

Guide customers on ingesting, storing, processing, analyzing, exploring, and visualizing data on GDC-AG air-gapped environments, and help them migrate from GCP-based setups. Explain differences between GCP and GDC-AG to technical and business stakeholders, and deploy applications across both environments. Work closely with Google account teams, partners, and customers across EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through ingesting, storing, processing, analyzing, exploring, and visualizing data on GDC air-gapped environments
• Support migrations of data analytics and AI workloads to GDC-AG with emphasis on post-deployment guidance
• Explain key differences between GCP and GDC-AG to technical and business stakeholders
• Deploy applications across GCP and GDC-AG environments
• Design and build data pipelines, data architectures, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting/analytic environments
• Build and implement machine learning solutions tailored to customer needs
• Set up Cloud Networking and Landing Zones for customer environments
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation pipelines
• Collaborate with Google account teams, partners, and customers across EMEA
• Travel to the Netherlands once or twice every two months

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering roles
• Expertise in GDC Air-Gap
• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience deploying applications across GCP and GDC-AG
• Background in distributed/sovereign solutions; familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE)
• Knowledge of Fabric Fast Customization
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform skills
• Automation and CI/CD pipeline competency
• Cloud Networking and Landing Zone setup knowledge
• Experience designing data pipelines and data architectures, including ETL/ELT reporting/analytics environments
• Ability to build machine learning solutions and work with technical customers
• Google Cloud Platform Professional Certification
• English proficiency (B2 or higher)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
