Description

Lead Financial Services data and AI transformation initiatives as a trusted advisor to senior client executives. You will own delivery oversight for key engagements, develop and evolve the Financial Services data analytics offerings, and guide teams on governance, compliance, and regulated AI requirements. You will also contribute to RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and mentor next-gen consultants.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client executives on data strategy, enterprise platform builds, and AI transformation from use-case selection through production and adoption
• Develop and evolve Financial Services D&A offerings and act as a go-to person in the region
• Own RFP/RFQ/RFI responses, including winning strategy and storytelling
• Manage the Financial Services project portfolio and provide regular delivery oversight
• Build long-term client relationships focused on value delivery
• Lead strategic engagement kickoffs: define program vision/success, form teams, establish governance
• Advise delivery teams on financial-sector regulatory and compliance requirements, including controls and evidence needs for AI solutions
• Coach and mentor next-gen FS data analytics consultants

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in data, analytics, and technology consulting with leadership roles (Senior Manager/Director or equivalent)
• Proven ability to lead large-scale data and AI transformation programs and advise C-level stakeholders
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, or related field (preferred)
• Deep knowledge of banking/financial services: data models, processing systems, operating models, and key business KPIs
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks: Basel 3.1/CRR3, BCBS239, AML/AFC, DORA, EU AI Act, model risk management
• Expertise implementing modern data platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Databricks and other enterprise data platforms
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, governance, lineage, observability, real-time processing, and enterprise-scale data management
• Ability to translate business problems into data/AI solutions and advise on strategy, feasibility, risks, and value realization
• Experience with modern AI capabilities: Machine Learning, RAG, Agentic Systems, multimodal AI
• Understanding of AI governance, human oversight, explainability, auditability, and deployment in regulated environments
• Experience leading discovery phases, defining governance frameworks, and delivering complex enterprise data programs
• Ability to establish target operating models, drive stakeholder alignment, and oversee end-to-end delivery
• Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, search technologies, distributed systems
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) with exceptional written and verbal communication
• German language skills (strong plus)
