Description

Lead and expand Financial Services Data & AI consulting programs across Europe, partnering with senior client executives on data strategy, enterprise platform builds, and AI transformations through production adoption. Act as a regional go-to person, manage RFP/RFQ/RFI responses, provide delivery oversight, and shape governance and success criteria for strategic engagements. Coach and mentor next-gen consultants while guiding teams on regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client executives on Data & AI initiatives (data strategy, enterprise platform builds, AI transformation from use-case selection to production and adoption)
• Evolve Financial Services Data & Analytics offerings and act as a go-to person in the region
• Own RFP/RFQ/RFI responses, including winning strategy and response storytelling
• Manage the FS project portfolio and provide regular delivery oversight for key engagements
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships centered on value delivery
• Lead initial phases of strategic engagements (program vision, definition of success, team formation, governance)
• Advise delivery teams on financial-sector regulatory and compliance requirements, including controls and evidence for AI-enabled solutions
• Coach and mentor consultants in FS Data & Analytics

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in data, analytics, and technology consulting with leadership roles (Senior Manager, Director, or equivalent)
• Proven ability to lead large-scale data and AI transformation programs and advise C-level stakeholders
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, or related field (preferred)
• Deep understanding of banking and financial services: data models, processing systems, operating models, and KPIs
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks: Basel 3.1 / CRR3, BCBS239, AML/AFC, DORA, EU AI Act, and model risk management
• Expertise implementing modern data platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Databricks and other enterprise data platforms
• Strong understanding of data architecture and enterprise data management (modeling, governance, lineage, observability, real-time processing)
• Ability to translate business challenges into data and AI solutions; advise on strategy, feasibility, risks, and value realization
• Experience across modern AI capabilities: Machine Learning, RAG, Agentic Systems, multimodal AI
• Understanding AI governance and regulated deployment considerations (human oversight, explainability, auditability)
• Proven experience leading discovery phases, defining governance frameworks, and delivering complex enterprise data programs
• Ability to establish target operating models and drive stakeholder alignment for end-to-end delivery
• Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, search technologies, distributed systems)
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) with exceptional communication skills
• German language skills (strong plus)
