Wi-Fi Systems Architect (CPE / STB)

Quick Facts

• Role: Wi‑Fi Systems Architect (CPE / STB)
• Focus: Home Wi‑Fi performance and reliability across routers (CPE) and Android TV set-top boxes (STB)

Description

Hands-on Wi‑Fi device expert role responsible for improving Wi‑Fi/TV service quality for home devices. You will mentor the team, architect next-generation STB device Wi‑Fi behavior, and evaluate components/vendors. Day-to-day work centers on analysis, debugging, lab testing, and design rather than running standard QA test suites.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Wi‑Fi lab (STB), oversee tests, and produce actionable conclusions
• Analyze user-reported issues and identify root causes, including hard-to-reproduce quality defects
• Debug Wi‑Fi communication problems in Android TV-based devices
• Create test environments and scenarios to detect issues before deployment
• Write technical requirements and documentation for devices and Wi‑Fi
• Collaborate with device manufacturers to shape how Wi‑Fi behaves in their solutions
• Develop tools for Wi‑Fi quality testing and monitoring
• Support new device development projects (technical specifications, technology evaluation, go-to-market support)

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Wi‑Fi experience (device-level work)
• Experience with CPE/STB or similar home devices
• Log analysis and network traffic analysis (Wireshark, ADB, console, Linux)
• Wi‑Fi testing experience and familiarity with test tools (Candela, Spirent)
• Deep understanding of device internals (chipsets, drivers, dependencies)
• Experience creating technical requirements and documentation
• International vendor collaboration experience
• Polish B2/C1 level (required)
• English C1/C2 level

Benefits

• Hands-on expert position with deep device-level debugging and architecture ownership
• Opportunity to influence next-generation STB development and Wi‑Fi quality strategy
