• Role: Solution Architect (SDN)

Description

You will define the architecture of an SDN (Software Defined Network) solution, including network and software components, and actively guide the technical implementation based on an internal hardware platform.

You will translate business requirements into tasks for the development team, support implementation, integration, and testing, and ensure software quality and compliance with good practices and standards such as TDD, KISS, and SOLID. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan the system’s development roadmap.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a system, software, or solution architect
• Knowledge of SDN technologies
• Experience designing and programming solutions in any high-level language
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of network solutions for analyzing and generating network traffic
• Security clearances or willingness to undergo a security clearance procedure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in NewIP projects (SDN+NFV)
• Experience designing REST services for an ONOS controller (or similar)
• Experience with containerization and virtualization
• Knowledge of OVS, Yang, Karaf
• Experience with computer networks (LAN, WAN)
• Knowledge of protocols: OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, OpenFlow
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferred: Ansible)
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum / Kanban)
