Description

You will support enterprise IT environments by monitoring Mainframe and distributed systems, handling incidents and alerts using documented procedures, and escalating to the Level 2 team when needed. The role includes running health checks, supporting daily z/OS operations and job schedulers, and collaborating with international teams to ensure service availability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise Mainframe and distributed IT infrastructure
• Handle incidents, alerts, and service operations
• Execute operational tasks strictly following procedures and guidelines
• Perform health checks and analyze results
• Support daily operations of z/OS environments and job schedulers
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure service availability
• Contribute to incident resolution and continuous service improvement

Requirements

• Communicative level of French and good command of English
• Experience working in a Mainframe support, operations, or infrastructure environment
• Knowledge of Mainframe technologies and willingness to further develop expertise
• Experience with IBM z/OS (MVS) or other Mainframe operating environments
• Experience with scheduling tools such as IWS
• Basic understanding of Linux and/or Windows systems
• Attention to detail; ability to follow procedures accurately
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Readiness to work a two-shift model as part of a 24/7 service
