Description

Lead the design, implementation, customization, and stabilization of scalable SAP Production Planning solutions in SAP ERP / S4HANA. Partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements, build integrated end-to-end architectures across SAP PP, adjacent SAP modules, and third-party systems, and drive adoption through workshops and knowledge transfer. Troubleshoot complex functional and integration issues and continuously recommend enhancements based on S/4HANA innovations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements for SAP Production Planning.
• Design end-to-end architectures streamlining manufacturing operations across SAP S/4HANA PP, SAP modules (MM, QM, PM, SD), and third-party systems (MES, APS, LIMS, etc.).
• Promote and enforce industry best practices oriented toward long-term operational excellence.
• Lead implementation and customization for SAP PP modules (PP, PP-DS) aligned with manufacturing strategy, planning processes, and operational KPIs.
• Own the project lifecycle: conceptual design and blueprinting, configuration, SIT/UAT testing, cutover, hypercare, and stabilization.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities for end-user adoption.
• Troubleshoot complex functional and integration issues, including MRP/MRP Live, capacity planning, shop floor execution, BOM/routing consistency, and MES or APO/PP-DS integrations.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend system enhancements, staying current with S/4HANA innovations (e.g., MRP Live, embedded PP-DS, predictive MRP).
• Work closely with technical teams by providing functional specifications, participating in ABAP debugging, and validating integration via IDocs, BAPIs, and APIs.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an SAP Consultant or Business Solution Architect, focused on SAP ERP/S4HANA Production Planning.
• Leadership in at least 2 greenfield implementations as a PP Team Lead or Business Solution Architect, with at least one on S/4HANA.
• Expert knowledge of SAP PP: MRP/MRP Live, BOMs, routings, work centers, production orders, planning strategies, capacity planning, and integration with MM, QM, SD, PM.
• Experience with ABAP debugging and integration technologies: IDocs, RFC, APIs (MES or APS integration is a plus).
• Strong analytical problem-solving and excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• English proficiency (B2+).

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP PP-DS (embedded or classic APO).
• Relevant SAP certifications for SAP ECC/S/4HANA Production Planning and PP-DS.
