Description

You will support the development of intralogistics IT systems by analyzing and evaluating Warehouse Management solutions and vendors and driving implementation and migration toward a new system architecture. The work includes service migration and splitting (e.g., warehouse state management), integrations (e.g., printers), and Master Data-related solutions, while ensuring a smooth cutover during ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and evaluate Warehouse Management systems and providers as the basis for make-or-buy decisions

• Lead the deployment of a migration and service-splitting strategy for services such as warehouse state management, printer integrations, and Master Data-related solutions

• Support the development of the project team

• Identify additional internal logistics services together with other teams

• Collaborate with engaged internal teams and external partners/vendors

• Ensure a smooth transition from the current system to the target system during daily operational activities

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience running IT projects

• Solid experience in project management, ideally for implementing or migrating complex systems

• Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices

• Very good technical understanding of complex system environments

• Agile mindset; ability to motivate and lead project teams toward shared goals

• Completed university degree (e.g., Informatics or Informatics in Business)

• Assertiveness and highly developed communication skills with technical teams, management, and external vendors

• Structured, solution-oriented approach to tasks in highly complex settings

• Strong sense of responsibility, independence, and proactivity

• German and Polish: C1; English: B2
