Description

Modernize an existing .NET solution by migrating from monolithic architecture to scalable microservices deployed on Red Hat OpenShift. The backend will communicate with an Angular frontend via REST APIs, with MS SQL Server for data storage. Lead the design, implementation, and technical delivery of the microservices platform driven by new regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices solutions and decompose the existing monolithic application

• Develop scalable backend services using C#/.NET and REST/WebSockets; collaborate with frontend teams

• Build event-driven solutions with Kafka and integrations; optimize performance and scalability

• Perform code reviews, write technical documentation, and support analysts with business requirements analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as Senior Developer (C#, .NET)

• 2+ years of experience as a Lead

• Microservices experience with patterns such as SAGA, Service Discovery, Circuit Breaker, and API Gateway (KONG preferred)

• Experience with REST APIs and/or WebSockets

• Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift experience

• Cloud experience (Azure or AWS) plus Azure DevOps and CI/CD

• Kafka experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and distributed data management

• Experience with automated unit and integration testing

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jaeger)

• Authorization experience (JWT/OAuth2)

• Fluent English
