Description

You will lead the long-term development strategy for Android applications (3–5 years), including architecture, code quality, and platform consistency. The role also covers scalable CI/CD process design, mobile app security and OWASP Mobile compliance, and mentoring the team while adopting AI-enabled tooling for engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 3–5 year Android app development strategy aligned with market trends and business goals

• Design, implement, and oversee architectural standards, code quality, and mobile platform consistency

• Mentor the team, share knowledge, and promote engineering best practices

• Design, optimize, and evolve scalable CI/CD processes to improve delivery

• Implement AI-based tools, including code review support and developer task automation

• Oversee mobile application security, manage vulnerabilities in external libraries, and ensure OWASP Mobile compliance

• Partner with technical and business teams to evolve the platform and enforce technology standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years in a Tech Lead/Architect or similar leadership role in Android, plus multi-year experience as a Senior Android Developer

• Very strong knowledge of the Android ecosystem, including Android system behavior, Gradle, and current Google standards

• Practical experience implementing or transforming CI/CD processes at scale

• Practical knowledge of mobile security, protection against reverse engineering, and dependency vulnerability management

• Strategic thinking and ability to make long-term platform decisions

• Strong communication and mentoring skills; ability to promote and enforce technical standards
