Description

Develop and improve a backend integration that imports meter data from external systems into Leanheat Monitor. You may also work on a time-series database migration and on a data validation architecture. The role supports more sustainable, cost-efficient heating and cooling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build a backend integration to bring meter data from external systems into Leanheat Monitor.

• Perform time-series database migration when integration is blocked.

• Develop a data validation architecture.

• Work independently within a large existing codebase.

• Collaborate with the team and use team support when needed.

Requirements

• Senior-level backend development experience.

• Ability to work independently in a large existing codebase.

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript (or willingness to work with this stack).

• Experience with time-series databases such as InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, or ClickHouse.

• Good working knowledge of English (min. B2).

• Advantage: experience with data integration (third-party APIs or file-based imports) and/or IoT or the energy sector.
