Description

You will help build a next-generation biometric authentication platform that safeguards millions of transactions. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will hold full architectural ownership of mission-critical backend systems that enable real-time analysis at scale, with deep attention to system resilience, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Own backend architecture for mission-critical systems

• Shape and directly influence the product

• Apply low-level engineering depth to ensure resilience, performance, and security

• Deliver with an AI-enabled mindset while keeping engineering fundamentals strong

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of commercial experience as a backend or fullstack engineer (backend-focused)

• Strong TypeScript proficiency

• Solid experience with Node.js (NestJS)

• Understanding of secure backend design principles (authentication, authorization, data protection, API security)

• Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms

• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL)

• Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and web communication patterns

• Experience using backend testing frameworks and testing strategies

• Experience using AI tools effectively and responsibly

• Very good English and Polish
