Description

Own feature development from concept through release and monitoring for social casino and gameplay systems. Build frontend functionality with JavaScript across iOS, Android, and Web, and create backend services and RESTful APIs in PHP to power gameplay, social, and LiveOps features. Improve performance, scalability, and reliability while iterating post-launch using player behavior and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end feature development for social and gameplay systems
• Own features from concept through release and monitoring
• Implement frontend functionality in JavaScript across iOS, Android, and Web
• Compose backend services and APIs in PHP for gameplay, social, and LiveOps features
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs consumed by client applications
• Contribute to data modeling and persistence for player progression, rewards, and events
• Improve backend efficiency to handle high concurrency and sizable player populations
• Ensure features are reliable, testable, and production-ready
• Assess and optimize frontend and backend performance for a fluid player experience
• Partner with Product to scope technical solutions and make pragmatic tradeoffs
• Monitor post-launch performance and iterate based on player behavior and metrics
• Proactively improve architecture, tooling, and delivery practices

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with JavaScript in production environments
• Experience building backend services in a live environment
• Experience crafting and consuming RESTful APIs
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Experience contributing to features through the full development lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a player-first approach
