Description

The Pricing & Transactions team builds systems that handle customer transactions across in-store checkout, self-service, and online shopping. The work ensures correct basket, discount, and coupon settlement, proper receipt fiscalization in line with legal requirements per country, and consistent product pricing across all sales channels.

Responsibilities

• Consult on designing and developing backend systems for cloud-based applications managing shopping baskets, discounts, and coupons.

• Implement and evolve fiscalization logic according to legal requirements in different countries.

• Advise on migration and modernization initiatives toward modern infrastructure.

• Support the use of AI-based tools in the software development process.

• Collaborate with other product teams.

Requirements

• Very good Polish (min. C1), German, and English (min. B2).

• Many years of experience in Java/Kotlin development with Spring.

• Experience designing APIs.

• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Openness to using AI in software development.

• Ability to think beyond templates and share knowledge.
