Description

You will define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for Nordea’s Azure cloud platform services while actively contributing to engineering delivery. This combines product ownership with hands-on cloud engineering—e.g., Terraform development, pull request reviews, architecture design, and platform automation. You will partner with stakeholders across business, cloud consumers, architecture, security, operations, and cloud engineering to ensure continuous value, security, scalability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and vision for Azure Cloud Landing Zone services

• Prioritize platform capabilities balancing business demand, security, compliance, and technical debt

• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog with Cloud PM

• Define and track KPIs, adoption metrics, reliability targets, and customer satisfaction

• Present roadmap, risks, and achievements to senior leadership and governance forums

• Contribute to Terraform and infrastructure-as-code development

• Conduct code reviews and approve pull requests

• Review and challenge technical designs and implementation approaches

• Support engineering teams with solution design, troubleshooting, and decisions

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, platform standards, and reusable modules

• Ensure services meet security, resilience, and compliance requirements

• Participate in major incident reviews and platform improvement initiatives

• Drive standardization and simplification of cloud platform services

• Evolve the Landing Zone to support AI, Data, Kubernetes, Serverless, and Developer Platforms

• Align roadmap with Microsoft cloud vendor plans

• Identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and cost reduction

• Gather platform consumer feedback and translate it into roadmap priorities

• Represent Cloud Engineering in governance, transformation, and audit activities

Requirements

• 8+ years of cloud engineering experience

• 3+ years of product owner/platform owner/technical lead/lead engineer/architect experience

• Experience operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms

• Agile delivery experience

• Experience managing technical roadmaps and backlogs

• Strong technical skills: Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Git-based workflows and pull request reviews, CI/CD pipelines, cloud security controls, Kubernetes, networking/connectivity, IAM, observability/monitoring
