Description

Responsible for the technical development of a Data Hub platform in the MDM and Data Quality area. You will design data-layer architecture, build and automate ETL/ELT pipelines, and implement golden record creation using deterministic and probabilistic matching (Splink). You will also validate data quality and standardize external code repositories.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement layered data architecture (staging, raw, golden record, presentation)

• Create and automate ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Airflow, Spark, dbt, and advanced SQL

• Implement and optimize golden record (“Złoty Rekord”) pipelines with Splink (Python) and matching rules

• Manage merging and survivorship rules for customers and suppliers

• Deploy and operate Great Expectations for automated data validation

• Take over code repositories from external providers and standardize them in-house (Git, Docker, CI/CD)

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer

• Very good SQL and Python knowledge (pandas/polars, API integrations)

• Practical experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) and building data warehouses/Data Hubs

• Experience with MDM/record linkage or strong motivation to develop in that direction

• Engineering best practices: Git, Docker, CI/CD, and unit tests

• Ability to communicate and translate technical concepts into business language

• Polish (native) and English (min. B2)
