Description

Develop and maintain Oracle Database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Analyze and optimize performance of SQL and PL/SQL code, design database structures for banking systems, and implement integrations with internal/external systems via REST and SOAP using XML/JSON. Support batch processes and migrations, diagnose production issues from logs/sessions/locks, and deliver changes using Git and CI/CD with technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle Database solutions (SQL/PLSQL) including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers

• Perform performance analysis and optimization for SQL and PL/SQL using execution plan analysis

• Design data models and database structures for banking systems

• Build integrations with internal/external systems using REST API, SOAP, XML, and JSON

• Develop batch jobs, migrations, and data exchange between central bank systems

• Troubleshoot production errors by analyzing logs, sessions, and locks

• Implement changes with Git and CI/CD; prepare technical documentation

• Work with analysts, testers, DB administrators, and business teams

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of Oracle Database (12c, 19c, or 21c), SQL (CTE, analytic functions, MERGE), and PL/SQL

• Experience in data modeling, indexing, partitioning, and performance optimization

• Knowledge of Oracle diagnostic tools (AWR, ASH) and Oracle Scheduler and Data Pump

• Experience with integrations (REST API, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSD) and Oracle AQ, ETL, or other data exchange mechanisms

• Practical Linux/Unix and Bash knowledge

• Git and CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps or Jenkins preferred)

• Knowledge of SQL Developer or TOAD

• Experience managing Oracle permissions and understanding data security

• Understanding of transactional systems architecture, high availability, and Disaster Recovery

• Independence and experience collaborating with analysts, testers, and DB administrators

• Payment process knowledge (ELIXIR, Express ELIXIR, SEPA, SWIFT) is a plus
