Description

We are looking for a Mid Data Engineer to work on client projects in regulated industries. You will develop an existing production data platform and build new solutions from scratch for collecting, processing, and sharing data.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop data flows in Apache NiFi

• Design and develop PostgreSQL databases

• Prepare REST API endpoints over the database in collaboration with the frontend team

• Optimize SQL queries for large data volumes

Requirements

• Several years of experience with relational databases and ETL processes

• Practical knowledge of Apache NiFi to independently design data flows

• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and data modeling

• Experience optimizing SQL queries

• Ability to prepare REST APIs over the database (configuration tools only; no Java/.NET programming required)

• Basic knowledge of Python for writing scripts

• Basic knowledge of Linux and bash

• Ability to work independently

• English language skills at least B2
